The Striker^TM Model 300

The Model 300 is designed for 2" x 4" wood stakes. Many concrete contractors make their own stakes from 2 x 4s. These are a real danger to drive in the ground. While one crewman holds the 2 x 4 the other crewman hits it with the sledge hammer.

The Model 300 is designed to remove the danger from this task. The strike plate is 4" x 6" (24 square inches) and gives any crewman plenty of surface area to strike with the hammer. The 14" handle allows the other crewman to stand safely away from the hammer's path.

Usually the 3rd or 4th hit with the hammer allows The Striker^TM to stay on top of the 2x4 by itself. Then the 2nd crewman can return to retrieve another 2 x 4. This model provides safety, labor and materials savings.

The Model 300 is also an excellent backup hammer. When nailing concrete forms together, the large strike plate area provides maximum resistance for the forms.
