The Model R300 is designed for driving any steel rod or pipe up to 3 inches in size. The round shaft has gussets on the handle & striking plate for added strength. This tool is a direct result of requests made by tent manufacturers.

The Striker^® Model R300 has a 12 inch handle to keep hands safely away from the striking area. The strike plate is 4x6 inches and the shaft size is 8 inches x 3 inches x 1/4 inch thick (ID is 3 inches-OD is 3 1/2 inches).

Because this is a hand powered tool, you have the greatest flexibility. There is no need to have an external power source available and it isn't so large you need to have special equipment to move or use it.
